The adapter included with CMP-20/30 is for charging the incorporated battery. The printer cannot be driven by the adapter directly, not through the battery.

When the charging is finished, remove the adapter and drive the printer with the battery only. We do not recommend you use the printer plugging the adapter. Because to repeat switching between power consumption and charging causes to shorten the life of the battery.
