CMP-20/30, wireless communication trouble by adhoc mode.


Check the following points.

NOTE: We recommend "Infrastructure" mode to communicate through access points."Adhoc" mode may often cause troubles on communication among different devices.

 See Wifi setting "adhoc".  ("Wifi-mode" on "MODE" utilities shown by self-printing)

Check each setting of such as IP, SSID, Netmask, channel and encryption on each printer and host.

Example

          IP  : 192.168.100.1    192.168.100.10
      Netmask :  255.255.255.0          255.255.255.0
           channel   :     5                                   5
     SSID    :    CSJ                              CSJ
    encryption :  No encryption             No WEP

NOTE: To avoid interfere from other wireless communications, separate "5" or more than from the existing setting number when to use the printer with various different combinations.

PORT"9100" is specified in order to set TCP port directly from the host side.

NOTE : Some devices like handy terminal systems may be specified as a default setting like other numbers i.e."8000".

If a standard TCP/IP port is specified to connect a PC, a protocol and port number are automatically allotted. Refer to utilities for wireless communications or instruction manuals for details.
