With terminal service (remote access), printing by Windows server stops just at the last part and takes 5 to 10 minutes until it restarts.


Conditions assumed as below.

 - Connect a printer to local network and install a driver.
 - Connect a server by terminal service (remote access)
 - Print with a redirect driver from an application on the server.

In the above case, Port name should be something like "TS**1". The status function causes a printer to wait for reply from a printer. It takes 5 to 10 minutes as waiting time.

The solution is to stop the status function. To stop the status function, remove the check box of "interactive support" on the property port of the driver.
