We use a network interface with CT-S8xx/6xx. The IP address is undisirable to be changed when power failure happens.

The IP address is automatically acquired by DHCP server in the local network within 60s after a printer is turned on. Which IP address is assigned depends on the setting of the DHCP server.

"169.254.1.10 (the factory default setting)" is registered if DHCP server fails to aquire IP address automatically.

IP address of a printer should be fixed if the above settings do not work. Make a below setting on the web setting pages in a print server to register the fixed IP address.

[TCP/IP setting]  "IP address from DHCP" = "Dissable"

 "IP address" = xxx.xxx.xxx

Gateway IP address = xxx.xxx.xxx

Refer to the attached instruction manual of the print server to learn the above setting.
