The amount of power consumption depends on a quantity of ink. When a printer prints all paper in black, high power consumption like Peak9A is required. But such printing is not expected for regular use. You need not prepare such a high power source.
Our in-house tests suggest 12.5% as a practical printing rate. Considering a margin, the voltage is expected to be 24V, 45W or 60W enough to meet the regular use. Note that graphic printing demands higher power consumption.
CT-P29x has an AC adapter model. The 36AD AC adapter is commonly used among our thermal printers.
