CBM 910 II SEL lamp flashes and does not operate.

There are two types of flickering of the SEL lamp: 1) blink at 0.5 second intervals, and 2) blink at 0.25 second intervals.
1) Flashing at intervals of 0.5 seconds indicates that no paper was detected. After changing the paper, press the SEL switch. The SEL lamp goes out.
2) Flashing at 0.25 second intervals indicates that a mechanical alarm has been detected.
If you find a piece of paper or foreign object on the paper course, remove it and turn the priner back on. If it still does not improve, or if there are no factors that could affect the operation of the mechanism, it is in a condition that requires repair.
