If Windows PC is left unattended for a while, it does not work to print to a printer connected via USB.

Estimate of cause
This is the case that occurs when the PC can not print via USB if it is left for more than a certain period of time.
If the PC is left unattended and "USB selective sSuspend setting" on Windows is "Enabled", the power supply to the USB device is cut off to save power, which causes the USB communication to become unstable.

Counter-measure
Display the "Power Options" screen on Windows.
("Control Panel"-> "System and Security"->"Power Option" etc.)
Then, go to "Change plan settings" → "Change advanced power settings".
When you open "USB settings" in the screen that came up, you can see "USB selective suspend setting", so make it "Enable" to "Disable".
